TOUCHING HOME | Marin's Own Miller Brother's Feature Film

I'd like to bring your attention to a locally produced movie that I am honored to be involved with, called TOUCHING HOME. It's a film that media, critics, and other folks who have seen it, are calling "very inspirational". You may have already heard about the Miller twins (former baseball players from Fairfax) who are the writers/directors/actors.
When Logan and Noah Miller's homeless father died in the Marin County jail, the twins vowed that their autobiographical movie, TOUCHING HOME, would be made as a dedication to him. Three months later, the brothers pitched four-time Academy Award-nominee Ed Harris in a San Francisco alley and asked him to play the role of their father. Ed said "yes", and the movie became a reality. Here's a short video of Ed Harris and the Miller brothers.
TOUCHING HOME is the true story about a father struggling to make amends with his twin sons as they pursue their dreams of professional baseball. The movie release will be accompanied by the HarperCollins paperback release of "Either You're In Or You're In the Way", the #1 San Francisco Chronicle bestseller by the Millers. The book is the humorous, inside story of how they managed to make their movie.
I would like to get all of my friends, family, and clients involved in the movie release. The California Film Institute (a non-profit based in San Rafael) will release TOUCHING HOME at the Rafael Film Center on April 30, 2010, and expand nationally from there. We would greatly appreciate if you would rally your friends, families and other group affiliations, to the opening weekend. We feel the story of the Miller brothers and TOUCHING HOME is one of working hard, determination, and team-work that you will enjoy.
